Nicholas Freestone is a young musician based in Ipswich. He is a Music Scholar and Organ Scholar at Ipswich School, and Organ Scholar at St Mary le Tower, Civic Church, Ipswich. His prize-winning anthem, This Lowly Ground, was premièred at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral as part of the Headmasters and Headmistresses’ Conference in October 2009. That month, Nicholas also played for evensong at Salisbury Cathedral, accompanying Ipswich School Chapel Choir.
For the academic year 2010-11, Nicholas will be Organ Scholar at Dean Close School and Tewkesbury Abbey.
